A massive update containing trading interface, better asteroid graphics and mining mechanics, new ship modules (mining drill and trading post), directional 2D sound and a load of bugfixes.

  • Merged star map and galaxy map to a single map tab
  • Changed bulky button file dialog to a sleeker list file dialog
  • Asteroid belts are now showing up on the star map as brown areas
  • Central star in all star systems is now chosen by a probability table for better control over the procgen
  • Better tweening for main menu
  • More progress on a full game translation
  • Many internal Modpack improvements
  • A truckload of minor fixes and quality of live improvements
  • Fix: HUD focused target not properly set/unset on target acquisition/loss, that causes contradicting information to be displayed
  • Fix: planet avatars regenerating in the HUD on selecting a target
  • Fix: planet shadow not aligned properly
  • Fix: Textfield “name” in new spacecraft dialog catching input when using editor hotkeys (Thanks Jeffro!)
  • Fix: spacecraft and mobile targets not showing up on star map
  • Fix: camera being able to zoom in indefinitely
  • Fix: discovered status not set in star map > planet info
  • Fix: items randomly duplicated and deleted on trade
  • Fix: thruster / drill sound instances being looped twice
  • Fix: asteroid particle emitter does not stop when mining has halted

Special thanks to Rina for reporting the following bugs:

  • Fix: entering galaxy regions in elliptic and spiral galaxies causing a hard crash due to incorrect region IDs
  • Fix: hints being displayed while the game is paused
  • Fix: camera focus and zoom changes while the game is paused
  • Fix: looped non-ambient sounds still played on pause
  • Fix: hard crash on leaving solar system
